Julia Davis Park is a municipal park in the downtown region of Boise, Idaho. 

The 43-acre park donated by Thomas Jefferson Davis in memory of his wife, Julia Davis, offers numerous attractions and activities for visitors. 

The park is home to several important sites in Boise including the Zoo Boise, the Idaho Historical Museum, the Idaho Black History Museum, and the Boise Art Museum.

Opened to the public 8 years ago by Cameron and Amanda Lumsden, Fork is a farm-to-table American restaurant in Boise, ID. 

Fork is an upscale restaurant committed to supporting the local economy. According to their website, they source all their key ingredients from regional farmers and producers, including regional distillers and brewers.

They offer comforting plates, some of which include asparagus fries, basil fondue, and 8th Street tacos with cotija cheese and fresh avocado. 

Fork also offers a delicious variety of sandwich and burger options are served with mouth-watering entrees like ale-braised short ribs, artichoke and ricotta ravioli, and Moroccan-style voodoo chicken.


3. Boise Fry Company

Boise Fry Company is a local restaurant in Boise that provides mouthwatering quality beef, bison, and vegan burgers.

The Boise Fry Company offers an array of different organic potatoes in a selection of cuts, such as yams, purple, russet, sweet and gold.

At the restaurant, they make sure that eating is a fun activity. Great Harvest Bread is a clean, bright, friendly restaurant with fresh, tasty food and beautifully baked bread. It has been operational in Fairview Avenue for more than three decades now. 

It offers an extensive selection of breads, granola, cookies, trail-mix, and dried fruit.

They make their bread from scratch by hand. Great Harvest Bread have their own stone mill, used to grind the Montana Red Spring. Bread options include buns, cookies, scones, and muffins.

9. World Center for Birds of Prey

The World Center for Birds of Prey is located on a hilltop overlooking the city of Boise. 

It’s the headquarter for the Peregrine Fund, which is an international non-profit organization founded in 1970 that protects endangered raptors.

The 1992 establishment features interactive displays, multi-media shows, and live demonstrations.
