The Eviction Protection Program from RMA is setup to provide protection for landlords from the cost of eviction of tenants who fail to pay rent. This program is provided for qualified tenants.

As we know, evictions can happen to any landlord no matter how well a tenant is screened. Circumstances change in people's lives and they are not able to pay the rent. This is especially true when people lose their jobs, go through divorce, or have a serious injury. Not being able to pay the rent, they also find it difficult to move. When this happens the landlord has to go through a costly procedure of evicting the tenant. For a small fee of $5.00 per month per unit, this program will cover the cost of almost all evictions. This could save you more than $600.00. The only part of an eviction that is not covered is the Sheriff's bond, jury trial and counterclaim trial, should those become necessary. (In 28 years we have never had a jury trial, only one counterclaim action and four Sheriff Bonds) Lost rent and damages are also not covered under the Eviction Service Program. Eviction of mobile home owners on rental lots is excluded from this offer, ie.e. the 3-day, 20-day notice. Cost: $5.00/mo
